Long time no post.

Yeah, so it's been a while since I posted last.
(Sorry.)I think I've come to a new phase in my blogging 'career.' I've decided that if people want to read, then great. If not, then oh well...for now, at least. I was spending all this extra time going to posting boards, subscribing to all kinds of software, programs, widgets, etc. etc. that were supposed to increase my readers...and I have to say that it did actually work...for a while. The problem is that I just do not have the time between work, home, my personal life, and Eli to try to maintain a large volume of readers.
So, on post number 280, I've finally decided that
it is completely okay with me to not have hundreds of readers, because I love the few dedicated readers that I do have.Maybe when I have more time to myself, I'll work on increasing my readers again. Until then, my fabulous few readers, read on!

OUR STORY
| We met my 9th grade year (his 10th grade year) of high school in Mrs. Presley's Geometry class. We flirted the whole year, went out with each other's best friends, and then on May 14, 1998 we finally decided to date! Here's the 'romantic' pick-up line I received: "Hey crackhead - wanna' go out with me?" What kind of girl can resist that, so of course I said YES! Fast forward about six years to October 23, 2004. John Marc proposed to me at Tallulah Falls, and again, I said YES! We were married on July 30, 2005 and welcomed baby Elijah to our family on December 4, 2007! |
ABOUT THIS BLOG
| This blog is all about the exciting events of my day to day life! I write about everything from my experiences in the workplace, my current pregnancy, silly things I see out in public, life in general, and whatever else
falls somewhere in between those things. This blog is also my attempt at mainstreaming all my old blogs into one. Basically this is my way to communicate with whoever will listen! I also do the occassional paid posting. You know, just for some pocket change. |

Good for you. I think the same way. If you want to read great, if not oh well. I love the 9 regular commenters that I have and it is nice to see the extra one here and there too.
Girl, I have been trying for a few weeks to post a comment on here...I just now figured out how. Yeah, I really can be that dumb some times...lol!!! Anyways, I will still be reading and now that I figured it out posting comments when I get the time!!! :o)
i love my dedicated readers and i'm fine with not having a 1,000 readers. it just doesn't seem as personal. you know? i've became really close to my readers. but i wouldn't mind having a few others here and there. glad to see a post :)
I've finally come to the same conclusion. Yeah, it's great to meet new people, but who has the time to keep up with that kind of expectations? Not I.
You're right trying to keep visitors coming is very time consuming!
I sometimes go through a phase of not bothering and then come back to it when I have more time..
